A GROUP of Redditch councillors have said they are ready to do what they can to support the Redditch community through an impending period of illness and isolation.
The Redditch Labour Party has said it will be working alongside other groups to support anyone who needs it as the fight continues to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

A spokesman from the group said: "We recognise that many residents will are extremely anxious and vulnerable and we aim to do our best to provide appropriate support. We will endeavour to deliver essential supplies or collect prescriptions.
"We are also available for friendly chats at the end of a telephone.
"We will be working alongside numerous other community groups - to support each other and share the load."
