A FUND has been helping individuals and businesses in Tenbury that were hit by the flooding earlier in the year.

Following the Tenbury floods in February, the Rev, Sian Harris, Rector of the Tenbury Team, set up a ‘Just Giving; crowdfunding appeal.

This raised £4,785.00 and it was decided to merge the money into the Tenbury Team Flood and Hardship Fund and invite donations.

The fund is administered by Rev. Sian Harris, Rev. Mark Inglis, The mayor, Eric Hudson, the Town clerk, Lesley Bruton and former Mayor Liz Weston, on behalf of the Tenbury Twinning Association.

Pont-du-casse with whom Tenbury is twinned has donated the sum of £5,800.

Applications are invited from any Tenbury resident who has suffered hardship following the flooding in February.
