SIR – I have walked through the roadworks in St John’s approximately 12 times since the work began.
The work seems to have consisted of three or four holes being dug. I have never seen anybody working.
Typically there are a group of four or five standing together talking.
They are all wearing hi-viz suits with normally their hands in their pockets.
In contrast the team working in Cripplegate Park are always hard at work.
