THE Worcester area with the most deaths linked to coronavirus is Lower Wick and Bromwich Road, government data shows.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which break down the number of deaths involving Covid-19 to areas within local authorities, show 15 people who had coronavirus died in the Lower Wick and Bromwich Road area between the start of March and end of June.
In these cases, coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor.
ONS data classes the Lower Wick and Bromwich Road area as the streets with postcodes from WR2 4AA to WR2 4ZP, and WR2 5AA to WR2 5UQ
In Worcester, 62 people have died since the start of the pandemic with three deaths linked to coronavirus in June, the ONS data shows.
