A POPULAR craft store has moved to a new home at an Evesham shopping centre.

Cotswold Needlecraft has unveiled a new 1,600 sq ft store at The Valley in Evesham.

Established in 2004, initially trading from a very smart, but modest wooden kiosk at The Valley, the business has grown its loyal customer base over the past 16-years.

That sustainable growth, together with the ambition from both its owners and landlords Eagle One, came to fruition this week with the official launch of its new branded store.

As well as doubling its previous space to allow it to meet the growing demands of its customers, it will also offer visitors the chance to take part in crafty classes in a dedicated education area.

Adam Spiers, owner of Cotswold Needlecraft, spoke of his pride over this big step for the business.

“This is a great moment for us to unveil our new larger store at The Valley," he said. "We are so proud that this new store can give our customer the space to browse all of our the products for their next crafting project.

"We would like to thank all the support we have received from Eagle One and our customers to enable us to grow and to offer the people of Evesham an inspiration space to encourage everyone’s creativity.”

Phil Maclean, marketing director at The Valley, said: “It’s personally very satisfying seeing an independent business thriving in this way. The success of Cotswold Needlecraft is built on strong foundations of delivering expert, friendly customer service that has attracted a dedicated and local following.

"Independents like these bring valuable diversity and differentiation alongside our national retail offerings. Welcoming Cotswold Needlecraft into an enhanced space has helped to further establish The Valley as a regional craft destination as well as cementing our commitment to helping develop independent businesses across our retail portfolio.”
