A VILLAGE near Tenbury was ahead of the curve when it came to community support even before Covid-19 arrived.
It continues to show the way with community togetherness that included commemorations to mark VE Day.
A community group was set up three years ago and is really coming into its own.
“We have a good group of 20 volunteers and during these sad times of coronavirus another seven volunteers have come forward,” said Eric Hudson, the Mayor of Tenbury, who lives in St Michaels.
“No one knows what a client may need, whether its some shopping, or an errand.
"It could be postal services or collecting prescription and chemist services.
"Also visits to hospital, doctor, optician, chiropody appointments and many more.”
