Iyioluwa Aderupoko's start: After Iyioluwa won players player of the year and a team medal at his former club he decided to elevate himself and go for a challenge and it played off well. After joining Soho last year at seasons end, he ends up winning the managers player of the year, midfielder of the year and just when you thought that was enough, he added the players player of the year to the mix. This was the birth of one of Soho Albion's key players.

The Origin: It was not always flowers and roses while his Soho stay so far. They were in a Milton Keynes melting cup tournament and after a long day of energetic football they got to the final and lost, this only fuelled Iyioluwa to cement himself as a first team player after starting 13 games; last season with only 3 bench appearances. A 23rd place finish for him was not enough. This season he has aided Soho to accumulate a 14th place position so far.

Season Breakthroughs: Soho Albion star with another great start to the season for Soho has played 5 games this season as a dominant central defensive midfielder, but this has not stopped the exhilarating young player from scoring in some big games so far, this season. This is just the start for the young midfielder. Iyioluwa so far has been a ferocious midfielder since he joined in 2022 while being a predator on and off the ball. This is not a surprise for a person that goes to training and works then goes home then works again, this clearly has been replicated in his games.

Iyioluwa’s dad Adedamola Aderupoko with no surprise has consciously described Iyioluwa as “hard worker and team maker” after being there to support him with every second he steps foot on the pitch. This is not a shocker as he is dubbed a star in the making.
