The Formula One season may have hit the chequered flag in Abu Dhabi last weekend, however the fun at the new high-speed F1 Arcade in Birmingham has only just begun!

It was lights out and away we go for the brand new, second of its kind cocktail bar in Birmingham last week, as the F1 Arcade opened its doors to the general public on the 21st of November. The Attraction boasts 53 world-first, bespoke, full-motion simulators, all equipped with motion and audio/visual effects to give racers a fully immersive experience. Racers can choose from 2 different game modes: team racing (for groups of 6+) and head-to-head, as well as the two new highly anticipated modes Grand Prix and All Venue Racing, which are coming soon. Rookie or experienced, the simulators are for all to enjoy, no matter the knowledge.

Located right in the centre of Chamberlain Square, the F1 arcade is one of the new venues to take its place on the grid, in the £1.2 billion paradise redevelopment - opening ahead of Las Vegas, Boston, and DC. F1 enthusiasts get to experience what it is like to be in the fast lane with well-known drivers, as they are in control of their own vehicle round some of the sport's best known tracks, such as Bahrain, Monza, Spar and Silverstone, all while staying in the heart of the Birmingham.

Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, comments online that the venue is ‘yet another example of investors having confidence in the West Midlands’.

Guests can enjoy a delicious selection of food from around the world, or perhaps some F1 inspired drinks at the swanky 'Octane bar', which stands proudly in the centre of the arcade. The attraction is designed accordingly, with neon racetracks, giant red lights and a life-size F1 race car being suspended overhead. Players can even create personal driver profiles and earn ‘Arcadians’ from each race, so you could be enjoying a winner’s cocktail, all paid for, depending on your racing skills!

When the 2024 Formula One season begins, fans will be able to experience races like never before, as the arcade offers live watch parties during the Grand Prix weekends, all while still being able to experience the food, drink, and racing element of the experience.

The attraction is being dubbed as the ‘ultimate social experience’, as driving enthusiasts can take control of the wheel on the simulators, which cost around £30,000 each. Experiences start from £15.95 per driver and can be booked online at
