LYE Town will be looking for a complete performance this week when they travel to Boldmere St Michaels.

It follows a tale of two halves which resulted with a 3-3 draw against Shepshed Dynamo last Saturday in the total Motion Midland League Premier Division.

Lye let a 3-1 lead slip to leave boss Andy Wyton fuming afterwards.

He said: "We just switched off and threw the game away.

"I don't really know what happened to them. We just folded and it was woeful to see. I was only surprised Shepshed didn't go on to win the game".

Goals from Luke Paskin, Geoff Hill and Ben Billingham had put Lye in the ascendency - but ultimately it was left to goalkeeper Jack O'Day who saved the day with a string of late saves.

Wyton added: "There will be new players coming in and some players going out, especially in midfield and attack."

It proved a bad week for Lye who also went out of the Worcestershire Senior Urn after losing to Highgate United in a penalty shoot-out.
