HALESOWEN Town's youth side completed a remarkable comeback to beat Nuneaton Borough in the FA Youth Cup.
The young Yeltz found themselves 4-1 down at the break and 7-2 down with just half an hour left on the clock.
However, Hales stormed back to win the tie 9-8 after a crazy end to the contest on Thursday night.
A hat-trick from Dan Danks and goals from Luke Love, Josh Beard, Tad Musata and James Griffiths set-up the comeback before Emlyn Tudgay an injury time double to hand his side an unlikely success.
Youth team manager Keith McKenna said: "It was just a fab night. I've never seen anything like it before.
"I'll be honest, I really felt for the opposition. I couldn't celebrate until we got into the dressing room.
"It's strange but for a lot of the game I felt we were still in because we are strong going forwards.
"When it got to 7-2 I thought we had no chance and it was all over. We got a couple of quick goals and it gathered momentum.
"When we got the equaliser I started to prepare for extra time even though the linesman said there was still a minute left.
"I couldn't believe how well we were playing in attack or how poorly we were defending. To get the winner was brilliant and capped a remarkable night."
