DAVE King says he has "full trust" in his Tividale squad after they went top of the West Midlands Premier League.

The boss at the Beeches has had to rotate his squad after a hectic start to the campaign began to take its toll.

Tivi beat Bewdley 2-0 at home last Wednesday before making four changes against Dudley Town on Saturday - their seventh game in 22 days.

Freddie Watts, Ben Birch, Tyree Clarke and TJ Munthali all came into the side against their neighbours.

Goals from Liam Wilkinson, Demetri Brown and Dan Smith handed them a 3-0 success to send them top.

Both teams ended the game with 10 men after Wilkinson and Mark Ganderton clashed late on.

King said: "We have had a lot of games in a short amount of time so had to start using the squad.

"I have got full trust in all the lads and they have proved they can come in and have an impact.

"The squad feels stronger this time around and I also think we have a bit more experience this year.

"At the moment there is a big desire from everyone to do well."

Dale now go to Wednesfield on Tuesday before a trip to Pegasus Juniors this Saturday.

"Wednesfield are in a false position at the moment and I think that will be one of our toughest games of the season so far," added King.

"It's a much tighter division this year but we're just taking it a game at a time. It's nice to be top but we won't pay that much attention. There is a long way to go."

Tyree Clarke will hopefully overcome a knee injury but Wilkinson will miss the Pegasus game as his suspension kicks in.
