A TONY Beyai double gave Dudley Sports their third win of the season last Saturday.

Sports picked up the points with a 2-1 success against Pegasus Juniors at Hillcrest Avenue.

Beyai opened the scoring after half an hour before the visitors hit back just before the break.

However, Beyai bagged the winner with 15 minutes left on the clock as Sports moved up to 13th in the table.

There was late drama after Emmanuel Antwi suffered a dislocated shoulder which caused the game to have to be delayed for 40 minutes while an ambulance was called.

There was a chance the clash may have to be abandoned but Antwi was eventually able to walk from the field so the final eight minutes could be completed.

Sports boss Tony Gore said: "It was a really good win for us but I still think we made hard work of it.

"We should have won more convincingly really but it was still a big win for us.

"We now need to take confidence from this and try and build on it."

Sports take on Haughmond at home on Tuesday before going to Pershore this Saturday.

Antwi will be unavailable but Dudley have been boosted by the return of Richard Hanson.
