WARRIORS.

9 PENNELL – still at the top of his game at 32 as he scored a brilliant try, was exemplary under the high ball and was a thorn in Sarries’ side all afternoon. My man of the match.

6 Howe – attacked with vigour but his fumble led to Tompkins’ score and misread Whiteley’s chip that resulted in Bosch powering over.

8 Olivier – produced a superb 80-minute display on his final outing as a professional rugby player as the veteran centre was Warriors’ top tackler with 14 hits.

7 Te’o – has faced criticism from supporters during his three-season spell at Sixways but was a go-to player for Worcester as he smashed forward on numerous occasions.

8 Adams – got under Sarries’ skin at times as he was involved in a bit of a scuffle but kept his head together to become Warriors’ all-time top Premiership try-scorer with a late score.

8 Weir – showed nerves of steel to convert Adams’ try and land a match-winning penalty at the death as he dispatched all five of his kicks.

7 Hougaard – continued his fine form with another energetic performance and his fizzing pass out wide created the opening for Adams to put Pennell away.

8 Waller – his ability in the loose has been a real asset to Warriors in recent weeks as his burst and offload teed up Fatialofa for a first-half try.

7 Annett – was pinged on a couple of occasions but did not put a foot wrong at the lineout. He also held firm defensively and came close to scoring.

7 Schonert – did his hopes of sealing a place in England’s training squad for World Cup no harm as he caused Sarries loosehead Figallo problems in the scrum.

7 Bresler – came to Warriors’ rescue with a superb tackle on Burger when Sarries looked set to score and got a lineout steal five metres from the visitors’ try-line.

8 Fatialofa – saved his best showing until the last match as the returning lock sprinted over for his first try for the club and fronted up well in defence.

7 Hill – moments after giving Whiteley a chance at goal after being caught offside the young flanker made amends with a close-range score to cap a brilliant breakthrough season.

7 du Preez – Warriors upped the ante when Lewis came on in his place but the Scotland international still packed a punch at openside with some heavy hits.

7 van Velze – crossed in the corner only for the try to be ruled out after replays showed his foot was in touch when he grounded. He also made the odd handling error.
