AMBITIOUS Littleton have pulled off a transfer coup by agreeing terms with ex-Stourbridge ace Ben Billingham.

“A proper number 10” according to Ton Boys boss Tyrone Henderson, Billingham arrives at Five Acres with the pedigree earned from more than 250 appearances for the Glassboys.

He has also been a mainstay at the level above Littleton’s with Lye Town, scoring 41 goals in 114 matches over the past four seasons, one of which was ended prematurely by surgery on a knee injury.

“This kid oozes class and will be absolutely massive for us in a tough league,” said Henderson.

“(He has) already shown in pre-season he has a wand of a left foot. Who doesn’t love a proper number 10?”

Striker Alfie Bloomer has also agreed terms after firing in 18 goals in 25 matches for Fairfield Villa at the level below Littleton’s last season.

Bloomer lists Bromsgrove Sporting and Pershore Town as his former clubs, notching 10 goals in 23 matches for Quentin Townsend’s Town in 2017-18.

Ex-Tividale midfielder Dan Priest makes up the latest list of incomings, joining striker Cameron Walker, long-serving captain Kevin Ingram, keeper Tom Parsons and Brogan Halpin as committed for the forthcoming season.

Littleton begin their pre-season friendlies at home to Bromyard Town on Saturday, July 6 (3pm) followed by the visit of Alvechurch, managed by ex-Aston Villa striker Darren Byfield, on Tuesday, July 9 (7.45).
