YOUNG players from Kidderminster Carolians showed off their skills at Worcester Warriors at the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup.
The club club took to the pitch at an event hosted by the top flight club on November 30.
40 teams took part in an under-12 and under-11 festival at Sixways.
In the under-11 competition Kidderminster demonstrated plenty of effort and skill but fell just short of earning a trip to the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final on June 20.
Kidderminster’s Rhys Williams was still proud of his side’s performances.
I have lots of fun playing rugby,” said Rhys, aged 10. “It’s what I like to do the most but when we win it is an amazing feeling.
“My favourite player to watch is Worcester full back Chris Pennell because he makes a difference every time he gets the ball and helps his team.”
Players also met Worcester star Ropate Rinakama., who took time out of his schedule to watch the young teams as well as offer some coaching tips between games.
Land Rover has heritage in rugby at all levels; from grassroots to elite, sharing and understanding the values at the heart of the game.
