HALESOWEN swimming star Chloe Robbins scored three personal bests at the National Youth Championships in Sheffield.

The 16-year-old exceeded expectations by gaining best times on the 100 metre and 50 metre freestyle and 100 metre backstroke.

She made the semi-finals of the 50m freestyle, coming 13th in her age category.

This followed victory in the Midland Regional Championships earlier this year.

There was also success for 12-year-old Hannah Taleb who finished ninth in the final of the 100m breaststroke.

Josh Bradley achieved a personal best in the 100m breaststroke, while Hannah Cuthbert appeared in the 100m butterfly.
