FOOTBALL CRADLEY Town team boss Josh Skidmore has brought in Bob Green as general manager.

The vastly experienced Green has managed Oldbury United and Blakenall and will help oversee player recruitment and scouting at Beeches View Avenue outfit.

Town lost 5-0 at home to Barwell where Skidmore thought the visitors’ superior fitness told in the end.

He has brought in former Walsall and Boston United defender Dion Scott from Oldbury Athletic, along with Leroy Murphy from Bartley Green.

Cradley have no game on Saturday but are at home to Stratford Town on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Causeway United will have players back for the home clash with Coleshill Town on Saturday (3pm).

Matt Hollis, ben Stretton, Danny Cox and Matt Aston should all be back.

Causeway went down 2-1 at Biddulph in the league, Carl Hind getting their consolation.

The game at Boldmere St Michaels on Tuesday night was postponed, with boss Carl Burley disappointed at the early nature of the call off.
