Black Country set for Hadouken! indie mix

Hadouken! got together in 2006 and have DJs Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq plus Mike Skinner from The Streets among their supporters.

Their name comes from an attack move on a video game, and video may be where the band can claim its biggest success.

Hadouken!'s People Are Awesome videos on You Tube have attracted well over 100 million views.

The band was formed by songwriter and producer James Smith who mixes the synths of keyboard player Alice Spooner with a guitar, bass and drums backdrop.

Their third album, Every Weekend, is available now and the band will be touring at the end of the month with support from Sonic Boom Six Catch Hadouken! at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton on Thursday October 31.
