A COACH fire between junctions four and three of the M5 closed part of the motorway.
Fortunately nobody was hurt in the fire, which happened last night, though the coach was completely destroyed by the blaze.
The M5 northbound was blocked between J4 (Bromsgrove) and J3 (Halesowen) while West Midlands Fire Service dealt with the blaze at around 7pm.
The traffic was later released on the southbound carriageway but the northbound remained blocked until just before 10pm.
Highways England tweeted: "We have been able to open lane 3 #M5 n/b J4- J3 so traffic should start moving soon. Thanks for your patience. Watch out for crews at scene."
Another lane was reopened at 9pm while one lane remaining closed for recovery of burnt coach.
West Midlands Fire Service were at the scene along with firefighters from Bromsgrove.
